Jesse Janssen | Conduct Report
Payment requests, disputed ban evidence, and moderation concerns in Humanity.
This article examines a community complaint concerning Jesse Janssen, identified in the accompanying background record as being based in the Netherlands and using the Minecraft names Rfind and Lstrip. The complaint concerns moderation in Humanity, a Minecraft Hypixel Housing game associated with Legendary Games.
CTG123456, the author and participant in the exchanges documented here, is a longtime Hypixel player with years of experience as a player, staff member, administrator, and owner within Hypixel Housing and Discord communities. His Discord experience includes communities both related and unrelated to Hypixel Housing. He brings that practical experience to his assessment of the ban, the evidence presented to support it, and the handling of his appeal.
The retained Discord messages document requests for money, an explicit offer to lift bans for $225, and a threat to disrupt CTG123456's internet connection. They also show payment requests continuing after he disclosed that he was 17 during the September 17, 2026 conversation.
Legendary Games' official Humanity listing associates the game with Lstrip. His official profile identifies him as an administrator, lists Humanity among his owned houses, and links the Discord username j_sse. These records connect the account shown in the messages to Humanity's owner and a Legendary Games administrator.
Payment requests during the appeal
CTG123456's firsthand account places the original PayPal payment request in a support ticket during his ban appeal. He lost access to that ticket after being banned and cannot reproduce it. The retained direct messages separately document requests for money and an explicit offer to lift bans.
In the September 17, 2026 exchange, CTG123456 asks whether the dispute can be resolved. j_sse responds:
"sure, 200 usd"
A later message raises the amount to $250, followed by another offering to lower it to $225. A retained screenshot of a Discord search result shows the following message:
"ill unban ALL of those for 225 usd"
This is an explicit offer to lift bans in exchange for $225. Earlier messages state that CTG123456 would receive nothing in return and that payment would change j_sse's attitude toward him. The subsequent message identifies a specific outcome: lifting the bans.
During the same conversation, j_sse asks CTG123456 his age. CTG123456 answers "17" and explains that he is a student. The messages that follow include:
"Get a job"
"Come back next week pay 225"
After CTG123456 refuses to pay, j_sse states that the player wants a "free unban" and does not deserve one.
CTG123456's complaint challenges the handling of an appeal through requests for money and an explicit paid unban offer. His experience includes administering communities and handling moderation responsibilities himself. His request is for the ban to be reviewed against the evidence and applicable rules. The messages show that requests for payment continued after his age was disclosed.
The disputed hacking recordings
CTG123456 disputes both the hacking allegation and the adequacy of the recordings presented to support it. After viewing the recordings, he assessed them as extremely blurry, low quality, and insufficient to clearly establish the alleged conduct. His assessment draws on his experience as a Hypixel Housing player and community moderator.
The recordings are no longer available to him for inclusion in this report. His criticism concerns the visibility of the alleged conduct and the interpretation of the footage used to justify the ban.
Threats and personal remarks
The direct messages also contain a threat against CTG123456's internet connection. In an exchange concerning the creation of additional accounts, j_sse states that he "will take down ur internet" if CTG123456 continues.
Other retained messages show repeated mentions, profanity, and personal insults following CTG123456's request to return to Humanity.
CTG123456 has substantial experience dealing with harassment connected to online communities. The Free Build community's account of his leadership and harassment history describes earlier doxxing, swatting, threats, and harassment affecting him and his family. That account also describes his continued hosting and moderation work despite those incidents. These earlier experiences form part of his background in responding to intimidation.
On October 3, 2026, CTG123456 contacted j_sse again, congratulated him on Humanity's new season, and asked whether they could resolve their differences so he could return to the game. j_sse's responses included further personal insults and the statement:
"idek what u said was deleting my messages"
In the same exchange, j_sse complained about his messages being reported and stated that he had been banned but that his appeal had been accepted. He then said he would block CTG123456.
The exchange documents j_sse's own statement that he was deleting messages. His explanation of a ban and successful appeal is his account of those events; it does not identify a confirmed Discord Trust & Safety finding.
Contact with Legendary Games leadership
CTG123456 contacted Callan and chikn on September 14, 2026, seeking assistance with the Humanity ban and what he believed was a related ban from the Legendary Games Discord.
Callan's official Legendary Games profile identifies him as a co-owner and displays an ADMIN badge. The profile for chinkn, whose Discord display name is chikn, identifies him as Legendary Games' owner and founder and also displays an ADMIN badge.
CTG123456's messages explained that Rfind had banned him for cheating based on evidence he disputed. He asked the two leaders to speak with Rfind and help resolve the bans.
Callan responded:
"Nah I don't really care enough"
As of October 4, 2026, CTG123456 confirms that he has received no reply from chikn.
These messages concerned the bans and the disputed cheating evidence. They preceded the September 17 payment requests and internet threat documented in this report. CTG123456 did not present either leader with that payment or threat evidence in his outreach.
Requested review
CTG123456 is asking Legendary Games leadership to review the original support ticket, the retained direct messages, and the recordings used to justify the ban.
The requested review should address:
- The specific conduct alleged to constitute hacking and the evidence relied upon to establish it.
- The PayPal request described in CTG123456's account of the support ticket and the payment requests documented in the direct messages.
- The explicit offer to lift bans for $225.
- The threat against CTG123456's internet connection and the personal insults directed at him during the dispute.
- The standards governing Humanity's moderation decisions and appeals, including whether administrators are permitted to request payment in exchange for lifting bans.
CTG123456 is requesting a substantive explanation of the ban, an investigation into the payment requests and administrator conduct, and a clear response from Legendary Games leadership.
