CTG Services – Terms of Use

Welcome to CTG Services (“CTG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain the rules and legal conditions that apply when you access or use any CTG Services.
By accessing or using CTG Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use CTG Services.
1. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to all services, content, and community spaces offered under CTG, including, but not limited to:
• CTG websites and web tools
• Community rules and resources posted on CTG sites
• CTG-operated chatrooms, community spaces, or servers
• CTG-run projects, bots, and moderation systems
• Any services CTG provides through third-party platforms, including Discord, Hypixel, and Minecraft
These Terms work alongside our other policies, including:

If there is a conflict between these Terms and another CTG policy, these Terms will control unless stated otherwise.
2. Third-Party Platforms
Some CTG Services are hosted on third-party platforms such as Discord and Hypixel/Minecraft (the “Third-Party Platforms”).
When you use CTG Services through a Third-Party Platform, you must also follow that platform’s rules, terms, and policies. CTG is not owned by, controlled by, or officially affiliated with those platforms.
We are not responsible for the actions, outages, suspensions, enforcement decisions, or policies of Third-Party Platforms.
3. Eligibility
You may only use CTG Services if:
1) You are legally allowed to use the Services under applicable law, and
2) You meet the minimum age requirements of any Third-Party Platform used to access the Services.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use CTG Services.
Some content or projects may include mature themes, such as content related to mature-rated video games. We may provide labels or warnings, but we do not guarantee that all content will be correctly labeled at all times. You are responsible for choosing what you view or participate in.
4. Definitions
For clarity in these Terms:
• “Services” means all CTG Services described in Section 1.
• “Owner” means the individual who operates and provides CTG Services.
• “Staff” means moderators, administrators, helpers, trainees, volunteers, or anyone authorized by CTG to help manage the Services.
• “User Content” means anything you submit, post, share, upload, send, or otherwise make available through the Services, including messages, images, builds, files, and links.
5. Community Rules and Enforcement
All users must follow the CTG Community Standards located at:

If you violate the CTG Community Standards or these Terms, CTG, or Staff acting under CTG’s authority, may take enforcement action at any time, including:
• Content removal
• Warnings
• Temporary restrictions, including mutes and timeouts
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent bans
• Any other action reasonably necessary to protect the community, users, or Services
CTG has final decision-making authority for enforcement actions related to CTG Services.
6. Appeals / Disputes About Moderation Decisions
If you believe an enforcement action was incorrect, you may submit a dispute or appeal using this form:

Submitting a dispute does not guarantee reversal, and CTG may grant or deny appeals at its discretion.
7. Account Responsibility (Third-Party Accounts)
CTG Services may not require you to create a direct CTG account. However, you may access CTG Services using accounts on Third-Party Platforms.
You are responsible for:
• Your Third-Party Platform accounts
• The security of your devices and login credentials
• Any activity performed through your account or identity in the Services
8. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not use the Services to:
• Break the law or encourage illegal activity
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate others
• Post or distribute hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or exploitative content
• Share personal information (“doxxing”) or private data without authorization
• Scam, impersonate, or attempt fraud
• Disrupt the Services, including through raids, spam, malicious automation, or abuse of systems
• Attempt to bypass bans, restrictions, filters, or enforcement actions
• Interfere with staff moderation or enforcement tools
CTG may interpret and enforce these rules as reasonably necessary to maintain a safe and functional community.
9. User Content and Permissions
9.1 Ownership of User Content
You retain ownership of your User Content to the extent you owned it before posting it.
9.2 Your Responsibility for User Content
You represent and warrant that you have the rights, permissions, and authority necessary to submit your User Content and to grant the license described in these Terms. You also represent that your User Content does not knowingly violate applicable law or the rights of another person or entity.
9.3 License You Grant to CTG
By submitting User Content through the Services, you grant CTG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, publish, adapt, and distribute your User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
• Operate and maintain the Services
• Enforce rules and moderate content
• Improve the Services
• Promote or showcase the Services, for example by highlighting community builds, messages, or activity
This license ends when you delete your User Content, except to the extent the content has been shared with others, archived for moderation, safety, legal, or operational reasons, or retained as required by law.
9.4 Content Removal and Moderation Rights
CTG reserves the right to remove, restrict, or moderate any content at any time, with or without notice, including content that violates rules or creates safety, legal, or operational risks.
CTG may grant Staff limited moderation permissions and may change or revoke those permissions at any time.
10. Intellectual Property
CTG Services, including CTG branding, names, logos, code, layouts, tools, and original content created by CTG, are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not use CTG intellectual property without written permission from the Owner, except as allowed by law.
Staff members cannot grant permission to use CTG intellectual property unless explicitly authorized by the Owner.
11. Reselling and Commercial Misuse
You may not sell, resell, monetize, or commercially exploit CTG Services, CTG content, or community resources unless you have explicit permission from the Owner.
Attempting to resell or commercially exploit CTG Services may result in content removal, access restrictions, or banning.
12. Payments, Donations, and Impersonation Scams
CTG Services are currently offered free of charge unless explicitly stated otherwise.
CTG does not request payments through unofficial channels. If someone claims to collect money on CTG’s behalf, that may be an impersonation scam. CTG may take enforcement action against scammers when discovered, but CTG cannot guarantee the prevention of all scams or impersonation attempts.
You are responsible for using caution when interacting online.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
CTG DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME.
YOU USE THE SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
14. No Professional Advice
Content posted or discussed through the Services may include opinions or general information.
CTG Services do not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not rely on the Services as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
CTG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
CTG IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR USER CONTENT OR THE ACTIONS OF OTHER USERS.
IF CTG IS FOUND LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, CTG’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED $100 USD, OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT ALLOWED BY LAW IF THAT LIMIT IS NOT PERMITTED.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIABILITY LIMITS, SO THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
16. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CTG and its Staff from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:
• Your use of the Services
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms or the CTG Community Standards
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
17. Termination
CTG may terminate or restrict your access to the Services at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Survival
The following sections will survive termination: Intellectual Property, User Content and Permissions, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Venue, Miscellaneous Legal Terms, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.
18. Changes to These Terms
CTG may update these Terms from time to time.
If these Terms change, the updated version will be posted and the “Last Updated” date may be changed. Unless otherwise stated, changes become effective when posted. By continuing to use the Services after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought in the appropriate courts located in Florida, USA, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
20. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that material on CTG Services infringes your copyright, submit your claim using the CTG Copyright Notice Procedure located at:

21. Miscellaneous Legal Terms
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver
If CTG does not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Assignment
CTG may assign these Terms in connection with a transfer of the Services or related assets. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without CTG’s written consent.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the CTG Community Standards, CTG Privacy Policy, and CTG Copyright Notice Procedure, form the entire agreement between you and CTG regarding the Services.
Force Majeure
CTG is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including outages, platform failures, infrastructure failures, natural disasters, government action, or technical disruption.
